We are more than just textile finishing. We are Compritec, a family-run finishing company based in Schwarzenbach an der Saale. Under the name Compritec we continue the business of the company Bannasch Compritex, which was founded by Kurt Bannasch in 1988. As a textile engineer, Bannasch worked for the Sanforized Company in New York, as well as for Monforts - the manufacturer of Sanfor systems.
However, even as we practice trusted and familiar techniques, we also leave room for new innovation. Our modern finishing processes can be applied and used in a variety of industries including automotive, protective clothing, decorative fabrics and technical textiles. We rely on feedback from our clientele to build our reputation from small companies and large global corporations alike.

Sanforizing

Sanforizing is a treatment for fabrics that helps maintain their fit and prevent them from shrinking after being washed. This finishing process causes a stabilization of woven and knitted fabrics, such as cotton.

Creping

When creping, we give non-textile fabrics new elasticity properties by creating many small folds. With the help of our specially developed process, we are able to mechanically process mainly aluminium foils and thus create unique effects in stretch and appearance.
